| 03:55:40 | <woobilicious> | does xmonad support screen capturing using "modern" methods? |
| 05:31:33 | <Solid[m]> | What are "modern" methods of screen capture? |
| 05:31:54 | <Solid[m]> | But yes, xmonad supports EWMH via X.U.EwmhDesktops, so I would imagine this kind of stuff works |

| 12:33:19 | <FernandoSchuindt> | Hi there y'all. Still learning my way into xmonad, but I noticed whenever I go fullscreen playing a video in Chrome, Slack or any other application, after exiting fullscreen my xmonad gets kinda weird. The mouse starts to click a few pixels above where the cursor is pointing to and the top portion of the screens is eaten away by around 30 pixels or so. If I reset xmonad then it gets back to normal. I'm trying my Google search here but |
| 12:33:19 | <FernandoSchuindt> | I only find folks having issue with starting fullscreen, which is not my case. Any tips here? Thanks! |

| 13:13:06 | <geekosaur[m]> | That's under the control of the video driver, not xmonad. What's your video driver? |
| 13:13:53 | <Solid> | sounds a bit like https://hackage.haskell.org/package/xmonad-contrib-0.17.0/docs/XMonad-Util-Hacks.html#g:1 ? |

| 14:07:26 | <FernandoSchuindt> | <geekosaur[m]> "That's under the control of..." <- huuum, my bad then, I thought it was xmonad 'cause it worked fine on gnome. my video driver is i915 |

| 18:46:47 | <yuu[m]> | Fernando Schuindt: oh yeah i have this issue sometimes too |
| 18:46:54 | <yuu[m]> | i only ever had this on Xmonad |
| 18:47:53 | <geekosaur> | is it going true fullscreen or fake? |

| 18:53:56 | <geekosaur> | bleh. guess I need to switch back to the old router… this one gets stuck |
| 18:54:26 | <geekosaur> | fake fullscreen is described in the link Solid posted |
| 18:54:48 | <geekosaur> | basically the app thinks it's fullscreen but it's still running in a window. this confuses chrome among others |
| 18:55:44 | <geekosaur> | but I have to go now :( |
| 18:57:12 | <yuu[m]> | gotcha. i don't remember the last time i had this issue, it only happens rarely. i can't reproduce it by going fullscreen like as Fernando described. see ya |
