| 2022-05-20 18:52:50 | <grnmtn> | I'm trying to build kmonad with stack, and it's running into a 404 trying to download this file: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/fpco/lts-haskell/master/lts-18.27.yaml . It looks like the repo that contained this file is gone. Is there a workaround? I'm not familiar with haskell or stack at all. |
| 2022-05-20 19:58:08 | <grnmtn> | Never mind, I was able to get the docker method to work. I absolutely love kmonad, thank you to everyone that works on it! |

| 2022-05-21 12:43:32 | <Guest98> | Hi! i'm trying to try out kmonad but there's something I can't figure out. I'm getting this error when I try to run kmonad with the tutorial config: "kmonad: /dev/uinput: openFd: permission denied (Permission denied)", even after following the steps at the top of the FAQ. My user is in the input and uinput groups. I'm using the latest Fedora and |
| 2022-05-21 12:43:33 | <Guest98> | the latest kmonad from github. Any ideas? |

| 2022-06-09 12:23:48 | <Solid> | noze: the easiest way would be to specify your defsrc as a US layout and then just call `setxkbmap de` or similar after kmonad starts up (you can use the second argument of `uinput-sink` for that) |

| 2022-06-10 08:45:21 | <noze> | okay, I did that, but it wasn't so trivial; I had to set my wayland layout to US first |
| 2022-06-10 08:47:08 | <noze> | what's the right way to get richer unicode input? |
| 2022-06-10 08:55:24 | <Solid> | unicode entry on GNU/Linux is done via compose key sequences |
| 2022-06-10 08:55:34 | <Solid> | I don't know if wayland supports those |
| 2022-06-10 08:55:44 | <Solid> | but on X11 you just instert the unicode character verbatim and it should just work |
| 2022-06-10 08:56:54 | <noze> | xcompose sort of works under wayland, but I can't seem to figure out how to reload it without restarting my session. oh well... |
